A very correct response time

You must necessarily go through the settings box to be able to get by (at least, it is possible) with which more is a rather tedious menu, being able to put off more than one if the idea behind the purchase of the The screen was “plug & play”, or “install and play directly, without the hassle”.
Nevertheless, this screen is very good in all other areass: Functional and wide-range FreeSync, very good response time, very correct input-lag and top design with a little thought for cable management lovers.

Very good ergonomics
Whoever says curved screen necessarily says that its depth will be a little more important than elsewhere we are far from a “sheet of paper” rendering that some screens are capable of offering however, we do not choose a curved screen for its exceptional thinness.
In terms of general design, we are on a very sober screen with a few rather welcome touches of red which give it a sporty effect without overdoing it, simply enhancing the contours a little.
The lines are very fine (apart from the curved back, of course) and the edges very thin. The foot offers an opening for passing cables in order to optimize storage. It is possible to adjust its height over a range of 13 cm, the inclination is possible from -4 ° to + 21.5 °.
Rotation is also part of the game, with an angle of -34 ° to + 34 °. Everything is quite easy to change, you won’t have to “force” the screen to move it as you see fit.
The only real downside here will be the size of the stand which, while logically large enough to properly hold the screen, will tend to take up a lot of space on a desk that’s too shallow.
If this is your case, you can opt for the removable arm solution (sold separately) which will allow you to free up quite impressively the space previously occupied by the original stand. What’s more, these arms are designed to hang two screens, so you can give yourself double the pleasure.
Connectivity
In terms of connectivity, we find on this AOC C24G1 gaming screen a VGA port , a DisplayPort and two HDMI as well as the jack port and the power port , it would be a shame not to be able to connect the screen all the same. The adjustment buttons are arranged under the screen on the right, with some information in relief on the interest of each button.
Unfortunately these lead to a poorly mastered menu on the part of AOC , with very tedious navigation. It is possible to adjust brightness, contrast, color temperature, gamma, overdrive and other settings dedicated to video games.
Standard settings acceptable, but to be re-configured
As so often unfortunately, computer screens are always delivered with standard settings that do not reflect the capabilities of the panel. Colors poorly managed, temperature sometimes too bright, in short, the first switching on does not give you very little desire and the settings would be more suited to an exhibition in store under dozens of spotlights than on your desk in the middle of a few LEDs of your RGB peripherals.
It will therefore be advisable to venture into the screen settings, brightness and gamma above all, although unfortunately this monitor is not the most flexible that we have seen you will only find it after hard work colors considered faithful.
