The Dual Action Gamepad is a more advanced version of the Precision Gamepad. It does not have the latter’s translucent dress but a midnight blue shell. On the other hand, it is equipped with two Chinese hats, which represents a significant advantage. Their coating is quite specific since it is soft and very adherent, which allows them to hold them well under the thumb.
The Dual Action Gamepad also has two buttons in the middle, four on the right side and four triggers. The joypad comes with Logitech profiler software. This one, as soon as the device is installed, scans your PC to find the games for which it has a configuration or not.
On our test PC, the software found five of the seven games present and offered two profiles already defined. Note that he found neither GTA Vice City nor FIFA 2005.
It scans the PC and automatically recognizes compatible games. In use, the Dual Action Gamepad is just as effective as its little brother Precision Gamepad. We just note that its directional pad, a little “buried” in the hull requires a little time to adapt before not overflowing.
Its surface is indeed very smooth. Chinese hats are effective and their length, although very soft, does not lack precision. The four buttons are also a bit soft, but their positioning makes them easy and intuitive to find. Regarding ergonomics, no worries, the pad fits well in the hands and no early fatigue is felt.
I am showing the experiences of several people who have used this gamepad.
Very Good Controller Very good controller considering that I was able to get it with 30% reduction or ~ 25 €. The grip is pleasant, the sticks as well as the triggers offer good precision for car games. The multidirectional cross seems fragile at first glance but it is solid. OK buttons. On the other hand, no vibrations. ( JeanCharlesD)
Great! Very good alternative to the XBOX Pad, you can feel the quality in the materials. I tried several models in this price range (Thrustmaster) but this one far exceeds the others. I recommend ! (by MickaelK)

New Flagship Gaming Keyboard Razer Huntsman v2 Analog
Despite all of their different design , keyboards have felt static for years. Razer is set to change that with the new Huntsman V2 Analog. This new flagship gaming keyboard uses optical switches to provide joystick-like control in gaming.
This is an innovative variant that combines keyboard and controller support into one premium package that can change the way you play. But at $ 249, these upgrades don’t come cheap. Do these innovations justify the high price? Let’s take a closer look and find out.
Razer Huntsman V2 Analog – Design & Features
The Huntsman V2 Analog should immediately sound familiar to anyone who has been following Razer’s keyboards over the past few years. The V2 Analog is a full-size keyboard and almost identical to last year’s Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro. Which itself was extremely similar to the Razer Huntsman Elite launched in 2018.
It has an excellent multi-function dial and multimedia controls at the above the numeric keypad, and the same sleek matte black deshfrance adopted by all major. Razer keyboards. And yes, it’s Chroma enabled, because what’s a Razer keyboard without a bit of RGB customization?
I’m happy to say that with this release Razer seems to have done everything ked-out with the BlackWidow V3 Pro and Huntsman Eliteand improved on many other things.
Feel Good for Razer Huntsman
The board is heavy which immediately makes it more premium and sits impeccably on my desk. It features Razer’s excellent doubleshot PBT keycaps that feel and sound great (albeit a bit loud, which is becoming a hallmark of Huntsman keyboards) while keeping the light well insulated behind the legends.
It comes with an upgraded leatherette wrist rest which is by far the best looking I have ever seen that comes with a keyboard. It’s magnetic, snaps into place so quickly, and removes unsightly bezels from the BlackWidow V3 Pro. Razer also included an upgraded USB relay port which clap uses USB 3.0. Finally, you can use one with a USB stick and get decent transfer speeds.
Strangely, this resulted in the biggest wiring harness I’ve ever seen with a gaming keyboard. Instead of having a thicker cable with two ends like most with a passthrough, it has two separate cables, each braided. And quite stiff out of the box. I was able to use the included wrap to keep this somewhat manageable, but there’s no getting around the mess for cable management.
Like Expect?
As you would expect from a Razer flagship, everything is RGB stuff, and it looks awesome. The Huntsman V2 Analog uses individual LEDs under each key, as well as under the multifunction dial and media keys.
More strikingly, it brings back the wraparound RGB band from the Huntsman Elite, and which also includes the wrist rest. Using a series of POGO pins at the bottom of the board, the keyboard is able to power the palm rest and sync lighting effects under light.
All of this is easily personalized in Synapse or by selecting a preset or customizing your own intricate effect. If you are not sold in RGB, you will probably find that the illumination of the wrist rest is excessive
Downside for Razer Huntsman
The downside to these double-hit PBT keycaps is that they reduce the overall brightness of the card. In a well lit room, the backlighting of the keys seems dim. The underlight is a bit brighter but remains quite dim in normal lighting.
This is not the keyboard to choose if you prefer a splash of color around your keys. Instead, its well insulated lighting looks a lot more intentional. The keys also have a lightly textured surface that feels great under my fingers while playing.
Since they’re double-injected PBTs, they won’t shine or have the legends scratched off over time, and should look just as good after several. Years of heavy use they do it right away.
The real magic of this keyboard is what happens under these keys. The Huntsman line, unlike Razer’s BlackWidow series, uses optical switches.
Switch For Razer Huntsman
Unlike a traditional mechanical key switch, there are no mechanical contacts that wear out over time. Instead, a beam of light is projected under each switch. When the key is pressed, the beam of light hits a sensor and triggers a key press. Optical switches are inherently more responsive, eliminating electrical interference known as debounce delay. And less prone to failure due to wear and tear on their internal components.
The Huntsman V2 Analog builds on this system to provide full analog control to each optical switch on the keyboard. In other words, each key is capable of providing the nuanced control of a joystick or trigger on a controller.
Normal switches operate in the “on” or “off” states. The key is “on” when pressed and “off” when not, with nothing in between. Here, Razer’s new analog switches are able to measure exactly how hard the key is pressed to provide depth sensing, just like the sticks on a controller.
This has a few unique advantages
The first is, of course, analog control. Press the key lightly, your character walks, a little harder and he jogs, and harder still, he runs. A car in Grand Theft Auto can go halfway and go full speed the rest of the descent. If you’re a fan of racing or stealth games, you’re probably already playing with a controller for more nuanced control.
The Huntsman offers a similar capability, while still being able to aim with your mouse and have the rest of the keyboard close at hand.
Likewise, depth detection allows the keyboard to perform other interesting tricks. Since it can distinguish half a push from a full push, you can tie an action to each, with what Razer calls two-step actuation.
This system basically lets you have two keys in one, increasing your responsiveness in games. Switching to a grenade with half a push and throwing it with a full is a prime example. But I also found it useful to link two single key zoom stages when running like a sniper. It’s a cool system but requires you to get a little creative and take the time to program what works for your own playstyle.
Customizable Support
The ability to sense depth allows the Huntsman to support customizable actuation points. Out of the box, the keys are set to operate at 1.5mm. Although the new switches have more resistance than previous Razer’s linear optics, I still found this too sensitive and recomposed it to 2mm.
Inside Synapse, the actuation point can be adjusted up to 3.6mm and synchronized with one click with all keys. It might seem like a small feature, but it’s one of the most meaningful in everyday life. Basically lets you have the responsiveness of a speed switch while gaming and the precision of a traditional switch with everything else.
The first version of the software I used had a weird issue that sometimes detected a second keyboard when none were connected. Like all Razer keyboards, the programming takes place inside Razer Synapse but here it is essentially a requirement. For games, analog control works by associating controller commands with individual keys. WASD would be mapped to joystick movement, for example, or triggers if you place a racing game. Without Synapse, the Huntsman V2 Analog functions like a standard optical gaming keyboard.
Razer Huntsman V2 Analog – Performance
On paper, the Huntsman V2 Analog makes a lot of bold promises, and for the most part it works well. Being able to sneak into Shadow of the Tomb Raider or wander the streets of Red Dead Redemption 2 felt very natural, controller-like, but not quite.
Likewise, jumping into a car in Grand Theft Auto Online and getting around town worked well and felt very natural over time. I also loved getting creative with the dual action shooters controls. In Call of Duty Warzone, mapping Run to a gentle press and sprint to a full press of W was natural and intuitive.
Getting to know it was easy, but there was more of a learning curve than I expected. I had to make a fair amount of adjustment to get the sensitivity just right. Even though the functionality is similar to that of a controller, the point is that each key has only 3.6 millimeters of total travel.
Functionality
It’s much less than a joystick or trigger, and it’s much harder to be precise about how far each key is pressed. To remedy this, Razer lets you adjust the sensitivity of each key – but there’s no getting past the lighter touch and the time it takes to get used to it.
Taken as a whole, however, the Huntsman V2 Analog is an exceptionally good gaming keyboard. Keyswitches are smooth and responsive, and the analog functionality has no impact on the actual feel of the keys.
The extra resistance does, however, and I would consider these keys among the best feel keys I’ve ever used in a gaming keyboard. The extra weight of the keys also helps in learning to use its analog functions.
very satisfaction?
The multifunction dial continues to be excellent, and the ability to map controls to its rotations and buttons makes it useful for more than just gaming. I especially liked it in Creative apps, where I was able to map shortcuts to quickly navigate a timeline or adjust tools.
The only thing I don’t like is the height of the media control buttons. If you’re tempted to pinch the button instead of rolling it to the side. You’ll quickly find the Skip Track button on the way.
Use the keyboard
During several days in gaming sessions lasting several hours. I was also satisfied with the ease of use of the keyboard. The wrist rest is plush and at the perfect height to support my palms and avoid straining my wrist while typing.
The leatherette I tended to make my palms sweat, however. I would like to see a perforated option available in the future. Best gaming keyboards
Gaming keyboards come in all shapes and sizes, and your needs can play a huge role in which keyboard ends up being the right one for you. We’ve tested a wide range of keyboard types to see which ones really stand out as champions in different categories.
If Asus tends to offer premium graphics cards, equipped with high-end home heatsinks called DirectCU, the company also offers less upscale models. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Expedition is one of these entry-level models, which doesn’t prevent it from being quite interesting in practice.
The cooling system used here does not have a specific name. The radiator is quite basic since it is simply a piece of extruded aluminum.
Cooling System
This radiator is in direct contact with the graphics chip and only this one. The power supply stage as well as the memory do not benefit from any dissipation aid. Two fans with double ball bearings are responsible for cooling the block.
Asus is once again using its 0dB technology here, which cuts off the fans when the card is idle. Working passively when no game is running, the card activates its ventilation when the GPU temperature rises above 55 ° C.
You must then strain your ears to hear the very slight breath produced by the two fans. We are here facing an ultra discreet card and this does not come at the expense of the temperature of the chip which is maintained at 68 ° C.
Factory frequencies and manual “overclocking”.
This GTX 1050 Ti Expedition is a non factory overclocked model which therefore operates at conventional frequencies. The GPU is thus announced at 1290 MHz base and at 1392 MHz via GPU Boost.
After more than an hour of non-stop gaming , the effective frequency of the GPU oscillates between 1533 and 1645 MHz. The frequency of the 4 GB of GDDR5 memory is for its part at 1,752 MHz.
As this is a card without a PCIe power connector, overclocking is necessarily very quickly limited by power consumption. We were thus able to reach a little over 1700 MHz for the GPU and not far from 2000 MHz for the memory.
We will have to wait to test a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti equipped with a PCIe power connector to really see what the GPU has in its belly.
Performance in games
In games, this GeForce GTX 1050 Ti sits halfway between AMD’s Radeon RX 460 and Radeon RX 470. The first is ahead of 47% on average while the second maintains a lead of 34%.
This model also performs better than unoverclocked GeForce GTX 960s OC models will then be matched. This ultimately allows you to play in Full HD without making too big a compromise, and in high quality.
Power Consumption
The power consumption of this model is very low since it is a question of 60 watts on average for the card alone. We thus gain 20 to 25 watts compared to the GeForce GTX 950 customs and, above all, we are at half of what a GTX 960 consumes.
Not surprisingly, energy efficiency is there and shines at a very high level. This is without comparison with what AMD offers opposite, both with its Radeon RX 460 and its Radeon RX 470.
Utility For GTX 1050
The PCB used is quite large, although it has few components. The power supply stage is made up of three phases for the GPU and one phase for the graphics memory. Our test copy produced a moderate coilwhine (coil whistle). No PCIe power cord is needed. Three video outputs are present an HDMI 2.0b, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a DVI.
The box contains a CD containing an overclocking utility and a graphics driver. Better to download the latest versions from the respective sites of Asus and Nvidia. There is also a quick start guide and a voucher for 15 days of Premium access to World of Warships. The warranty is 3 years.
STRONG POINTS
Very discreet in games.
Fans off at rest.
WEAK POINTS
No heatsink on the power supply and memory stage.
CONCLUSION
Used to premium graphics cards that offer a whole host of options, Asus shows that it is able to deliver quality entry level models as well. If it is not overclocked, this model is extremely quiet, without neglecting the cooling of the chip, maintained at a suitable temperature.
If there is one manufacturer name that every gaming enthusiast should know, it is Razer ! Evolving in the high end environment, Razer prices admittedly high, but reflecting the intrinsic values of its products like the famous Blade 15 , a gaming laptop with superior technical characteristics, and that you can modulate in to some extent.

Due to its popularity, the model is available in many specialty stores and even in some supermarkets. However, to save time and effort, it is in your interest to go through an online shopping platform, which will also ensure that you receive the equipment in the best conditions.
As a manufacturer evolving in this field, Razer had to offer an all in one solution, succeeding on all the essential points related to the practice of video games.
Based on hardware and software solutions such as Windows 10, Intel Core or even Nvidia GeForce Series, it not only allows use for the most demanding video games of the generation, but also all applications requiring significant resources, such as livestream , animation or even video editing.
We were talking about a solution, but we actually find an Advanced Model the first released as well as a Base Model with less advanced features, but also at a more attractive price. For both versions, however, there is a unique base.

You will have noticed: we have not detailed certain crucial points, such as storage, graphics card, processor or battery. Quite simply because it is on these points that the two variants make the difference!
The differences between Razer Blade 15 Base Model and Advanced Model. The first version, also the most sophisticated the Advanced Model lets you choose between several cards: an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070 or RTX 2080 , all three of Max-Q design and incorporating Optimus technology.
On this point, the Base Model, released more recently, directly embeds the GTX 1660 Ti VR. The processor also varies in newer versions, so the base model comes with an Intel iRNUM i7 (6-core) while the Advanced Model comes with an i7 Core Family. Note that if both are boosted by 16Gb RAM , the Base Model only allows an extension up to 32Gb, where the Advanced allows double, at 64Gb.
Storage & battery
On the storage side, several solutions are available to you within the two variants: you can opt for a configuration including an SSD and an HHD, of 128/256 and 1TB / 2TB depending on the configurations. You can also go for a blank slot for the HDD and focus on the SSD alone, pushing up to a 512GB SSD.
Regarding the screen, the Advanced Model offers you the choice of upgrading for a higher refresh rate, at 144Hz against 60Hz for the base model. Customization options are also enhanced on the advanced model, which allows you to set the backlighting key by key where the basic model is single zone.
The power of the battery increases consecutively in order to compensate for the increase in resources, rising to 80Wh against 65Wh for the base model, although this does not change the use, the maximum autonomy being always set at 6h.
Summary of our opinion on the Razer Blade 15
Aesthetic in presentation, formidable in use the Blade 15 dazzles us with its performance. If it compensates for its performance by heat spreading over the entire chassis, it remains high end, deploying an obvious quality of construction, perfect by elaborate finishes.
Its attractive thin edges leave more room for the action, which you admire thanks to a formidable full HD touch screen. To return to the aestheticism of the product, the design of the Razer Blade 15 strongly reminds us of a Macbook Pro, which is a compliment given the importance of this point for the Apple brand.

Now let’s go into the details of our test, point by point. Note that we are based on the basic version the Model Base but that we also have a word for the advanced model, performance side, when it is relevant.
Frame and screen
This is the point where Razer surprises us the most: the aluminum alloy and CNC chassis deploys tremendous strength and displays a high end look noticeable at first glance.
We appreciate the manufacturer’s efforts to refine the computer as much as possible a true synonym of luxury by giving it slightly pronounced edges for a more generous display as well as a thickness of only 1.68cm.
And believe our experience: When the discovery of this build quality is complete, your eyes will instantly be on the screen. And what a screen! Its 15.6-inch size allows for a good balance between mobility and display, deploying a full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS resolution.
For refined colorimetry, each screen individually calibrated at the factory. Note, as indicated previously, that you can opt for a refresh at 60Hz or 144Hz.

Aesthetics and customization
Not only is the whole thing good, but also aesthetic: the construction gives the Razer Blade a minimalist and modern look quite successful its finesse allowing it to assert itself, according to the manufacturer, as “the laptop world’s thinnest 15.6-inch gaming machine ”.
The finishes are worked and the green color emblematic of the manufacturer – covers the logo as well as the connectors and USB ports .
But obviously what you want to hear about is of course the RGB backlighting. And there, as we told you, the choice is left to you by zone or key by key. In either case, the Synapse software suite is complete and pretty well done, although we may regret a lack of intuitiveness during the first uses. It will therefore be necessary to go through tutorials or simply to rummage to manage to take it correctly in hand.

Performance
The performance of the Intel CPU and the Nvidia GPU (processor and graphics card). As a gaming PC, this is obviously where we expect it the most! The performance of the graphics card is frankly well exploited by the device, offering maximum fluidity on games with advanced graphics. In Full HD, in-game performance is very fast for RTX ranges, with high levels of graphics.
Thus, TomsHardware data reveals high fps in Ultra on games like World War Z or GTA 5 (with x8 anti-aliasing ). Although for the latter, the fps drop slightly below 60 for the RTX 2060. The performances remain all the same similar, since one notes on average 55-62fps, from the 2060 to the 2080.
In 4K, for the same game, it will be preferable to lower the anti-aliasing to 2x while reducing the quality of the graphics to “high”. With this configuration, the fps are preserved around 55 to 66fps, again from 2060 to 2080. On the other hand, on a game like Far Cry 5, you will have to be content with normal graphics for FPS limited to 45-55fps. A point on which the Radeon VII is doing better.
Inside GTX 1660
If you are going to look to the GTX 1660 Ti for the Base Model, expect great performance in Full HD too. With around 70fps for The Witcher 3, Far Cry 5 and Battlefield V in Ultra, over 110fps for Wolfenstein II.
In Ultra and x8 antialiasing, and even a solid 53fps for GTA in “very high” graphics quality and x4 antialiasing. In 2560 × 1440, obviously, performance drops, but remains very good for games like Battlefield V in ultra (nearly 50fps), Far Cry 5 in Ultra and HD textures (54fps) or The Witcher 3 in Ultra (54fps) .
Configuration System
Thus, depending on the configuration, the machine gets off handily. Without difficulties? Not so sure, because it compensates for its performance by a significant release of heat. And if we can not blame the ventilation system, relatively innovative, the fault is however on the chassis.
This conducts heat over its entire surface, so that the keyboard can quickly become relatively hot at high performance. It may therefore be interesting to use an additional external ventilation solution to avoid the feeling of discomfort for the most intense parts.
On the processor side, the Intel Core i7-9750H as well as the Intel Core i7 Family with their 6 cores are formidable in use and do not fail to confer speed and responsiveness to the computer. However, as Les Numériques points out in their dedicated test, it is necessary to use the Synapse software. Then to switch the processor from “balanced” to “creator” to observe an increase in performance, with a rate at 3.3GHz. against 2.9GHz for the default mode.
This is not necessarily the point that convinced us the most. Listening is indeed not very generous: the midrange, bass and bass thus have a significant range than on other devices of similar configuration. The design convinces us, on the other hand, more, since the manufacturer decides to place the speakers in frontdirectly. In order to enjoy sound directed directly to the user.
An interesting choice, even if it does not allow to benefit from an exceptional rendering. The output power being however important, you can amply compensate in installation an external audio solution, such as a hi-fi or portable speaker. Which will allow you to compensate at the same time the low range of sound frequencies for the mediums and the bass.

Nomadic or sedentary use?
Let’s get it right a gaming PC is virtually dedicated to home use. Associating it with a portable format therefore represents a challenge that Razer succeeds relatively well here. With a reasonable weight of 2kg, it still carries a diet of nearly 700g. In short, for carrying in a satchel over a long distance this is not necessarily ideal but a backpack will do the trick. Likewise, depending on the duration of your trip, you will not necessarily have to take the power supply with you.
The autonomy of 6.30 hours on average is frankly admirable for a gaming laptop, for classic Wi-Fi use. Internet browsing / optimal brightness. On the other hand, this drops if the refresh rate of your screen goes to 144Hz (against 60Hz). In which case you can count about thirty minutes less for autonomy.
Obviously, in games, you can not expect a monster outfit, although this obviously depends on the resources that the game in question requires. For maximum performance, allow a maximum of 1 hour to 1:30 of play. In other words, avoid playing on battery power, except for the most economical games! Note, moreover, that it is possible for you to boost it. By reducing the brightness or by switching to “Airplane mode”, for example, you can expect an autonomy of more than 10 hours.
Our final opinion on the Razer Blade 15
If Razer is establishing itself as one of the most popular manufacturers in the business. It’s not for nothing and this model proves it to us without question. It dazzles us in all its variants, from the Advanced to the Base Model. Offering various solutions allowing to modulate both the components and the price. If this turns out to be high, let us note at the same time that the quality of construction as much as the performances justify it.
Especially in a portable format, more expensive than the fixed equivalent for the same components, because requiring a microphone specific construction. Comfortable, it makes you want to use it both at home and outside. Which it allows to a certain extent thanks to its autonomy. There are still some possible improvements, especially with regard to heat conduction more than the cooling system. Which is successful as well as the quality of the speakers. Do not hesitate to compose with a speaker: the output power allows you to “spit out the decibels”!
At the end of 2016, Logitech launched a mouse dedicated to professional gamers. Simply called “Pro” (initially “Pro Gaming” and also called “G Pro”). A mouse unfortunately sold at a high price (79.99 €) despite a simple design and embedded technologies already proven by the Swiss manufacturer.
Never mind, Logitech has decided to decline this mouse in a more affordable version ($40). The G203 Prodigy, which does not ultimately have much to envy its big sister.
Good Gaming Mouse
A good gaming mouse can easily cost north of $ 100, but Logitech is targeting budget-conscious people today with its latest gaming mouse entry, which costs just $ 40. The Logitech G203 Lightsync may be cheap, but it certainly doesn’t skimp on features.
In addition to offering six fully programmable buttons, the “Gaming Grade” sensor can be adjusted between 200 and 8,000 DPI, allowing per-game adjustment if required. Best of all, the G203 is compatible with the Logitech G Hub app, which lets you save up to five presets.
Buttons for Logitech G203
The main left and right mouse buttons are equipped with a proprietary “Logitech G Button Tension System” metal spring which is intended to provide a consistent click experience throughout the life of the mouse. And as the name suggests, the G203 features the Lightsync RGB lighting system, enabling mouse-driven light shows using 16.8 million colors.
At $ 40, it’s a good starting point for anyone to get into PC gaming. Logitech has configured the G203 to work with no modifications needed until you are ready to do so.
It’s also highly compatible, working with Windows 7, 8, and 10, as well as macOS 10.10 or later and Chrome OS. Finally, there are two color options: white and black, the USB cable is 2.1 meters long. Which should be enough for any configuration,
Ergonomics
At first glance, it’s hard to find any differences between the G203 Prodigy and the G Pro. The shell is identical, made of plastic with a grainy coating to avoid fingerprints, the finish is just as neat and the mouse still seems robust.
Only the cable changes, since that of the Pro is braided when that of the G203 is sheathed. The latter is nevertheless quite flexible and does not seem particularly less solid. In short, it is not in terms of design or ergonomics that the two mice stand out.
We also emit the same criticisms of the G203, that is to say that if its ambidextrous shape seems interesting for left-handers, the presence of buttons only on the left edge significantly reduces the interest of this mouse for this fringe. users.
Of course, this avoids involuntary activations for right-handed people, but one could have imagined a different arrangement of the buttons or a system of removable buttons as on the G900 to avoid these inconveniences. Alas, left-handed players will not look more to the G203 than to the G Pro.
Handling For Logitech G203
The handling is not without reproach either. Indeed, if the plastic is not unpleasant in the hand, it remains relatively slippery, especially on the edges, which can make lifting and rapid movements a little tricky.
Fortunately, the small size of the G203 (116.6 x 62.2 x 38.2 mm), its low mass (85 g, or 2 g more than the G Pro) and the inclination of its edges allow a good maneuverability.
As long as you hold the mouse firmly enough, there is no contraindication to using it in low sensitivity, for example, even if you tend to prefer non-slip coatings on the edges to avoid any risk . Small mouse requires, we prefer to use it with the fingertips or as a claw. Only small hands can put all or part of the palm on it.
Comfort Mouse for G203
The G203 therefore aims above all for a certain nervousness rather than comfort. And this can be seen right down to the main click buttons. Very sensitive, they also benefit from the tension system that Logitech uses on its gaming mice since the G900. A small spring keeps the button contactor on that of the switch to improve the consistency of the click and its responsiveness.
If the G203 does benefit from Omron switches, like the G Pro. These are only guaranteed for 10 million activations (20 for the G Pro).
The two slice buttons are also quite convincing, producing a fairly sharp click. Their small size, however, makes them less accessible than those of mice like the G403. The click of the dial is also of good quality and tastes good not to be too hard. Finally, the last button located above the wheel is used to change the sensitivity of the mouse on the fly. If it is not very accessible, we reach it despite everything without twisting our fingers too much.
For its part, the wheel is very good for the game, with its notches sufficiently well marked. No horizontal scrolling on the other hand, it is about a wheel all that there is of more basic. Mouse for gamers requires, here we can not escape the single-zone RGB backlighting which illuminates both the brand’s G logo and a small border at the base of the mouse.
It has no function apart from aesthetics and will therefore be content to brighten up the offices of those who appreciate multicolored lights. This backlight is fortunately not disturbing in use, the hand largely covering the illuminated areas. It is also possible to deactivate it.

The biggest difference between G203 and G Pro is indeed in the innards of the mouse, in particular at the level of the sensor. Exit the Pixart PMW3366, make way for a home sensor called “Mercury”. Still of optical type, this one displays inferior technical characteristics: maximum acceleration supported of 25 g. Operation at speeds of 5.08 m / s and adjustable sensitivity from 200 to 8000 dpi.
This is still enough to satisfy the players. very few of them being the most nervous capable of exceeding such speeds. Even while performing the ample and rapid movements required to play in very low sensitivity.
The same goes for the maximum sensitivity, largely sufficient to go so far as to meet the expectations of those who use several Ultra HD screens.
In practice, it is therefore difficult to fault this Mercury sensor, the difference with the PMW3366 being fairly maintained. We can barely notice a very slightly better feeling of fluidity with the Pixart sensor or the Hero sensor of the latest Logitech mice. But this is really not significant. In any case, we did not find any fault in acceleration or stability during our tests.
Regarding the recognition of surfaces. If it is always necessary to avoid glass and other surfaces that are too shiny or transparent with an optical sensor. we have not detected any particular problem here with fabric or plastic mouse pads, or even with our slightly satin desk. The G203’s sensor seems to behave as well as the G Pro’s.
Logitech Assistant Software
Logitech’s Video Game Assistant software, common to the manufacturer’s various gaming peripherals. Allows you to create multiple usage profiles to automatically adapt settings to stored applications.
For each profile, it is thus possible to change the assignment of the keys and to set up to five levels of sensor sensitivity. The backlight can also be changed to take advantage of different light effects.
Finally, an option makes it possible to optimize the precision of the sensor according to the surface on which the mouse is used.
STRONG POINTS
Compact and light.
Pleasant handling, well-placed buttons.
Convincing optical sensor.
Responsive buttons.
Integrated memory.
Robust design.
WEAK POINTS
Rather intended for right-handed people despite its symmetrical shape (buttons only on the left edge).
Dial without side buttons.
Slippery coating.
CONCLUSION
Despite the use of a sensor that is less swift than that of the G Pro, the G203 Prodigy is doing with honors. Above all, its half price makes it much more attractive for players looking for a small, lively and robust mouse, particularly suitable for FPS and Moba.

To take full advantage of the benefits of your chair, you need to ensure that you are seated in the correct manner. Poor sitting, even in a good chair, can diminish your potential benefits.
As a result, take the time to get used to your chair and find the best position to place it. You should sit as ergonomically as possible to minimize damage and stay comfortable.
Make sure to keep the chair clean as well. Over time, your chair will get dirty and possibly stained, which can reduce its effectiveness. Do your best to wash it regularly and try not to eat at your desk if possible. Food can fall into the cracks in the chair, which can stain the fabric and give off an unpleasant odor.

Turtle Beach Recon 70 – The ideal gaming headset at a low price?
We are finally approaching the end of containment. And like many, you may have taken advantage of confinement to discover new ways to be entertained. For example video games. Or, maybe you were already a confirmed player in solo games, and the confinement was an opportunity to try your hand at online games.
So, like any good self-respecting gamer, you will take advantage of the deconfinement to get a gaming headset so that you can fully enjoy your online games with your friends in optimal comfort.
What if the Turtle Beach Recon 70 was the headset for you? Its low price is already a good first point that will allow many gamers to benefit from a suitable product at a lower cost. But is the latter also satisfactory on other points? We see this together!
New Presented Form Turle Beach
It is a brand that is no longer presented in the gaming accessories industry. Turtle Beach is an American company located in San Diego (California) and today culminates among the best suppliers of gaming equipment.
Last year the “Recon 70” range was launched. The idea was to offer a gaming headset at a low price for beginner players or simply for those who cannot afford to spend a hundred euros in this kind of accessory to enjoy their passion as it should.
After several weeks in our hands, it’s time to deliver our verdict on this helmet.
CHARACTERISTICS
Connections : 3.5mm jack socket
Frequency response : 20Hz – 20kHz
Earphones : 40mm with neodymium magnets
Cable length : approx. 120 cm
Integrated controls : main volume adjustment, mute microphone option
Microphone : multidirectional, rocker and non-detachable, can be cut with a gesture by lifting it
Padding of the headband : synthetic leather with foam
Coating of the pads : enveloping (closed), synthetic leather with foam
Design Of Headset Turtle Beach
In terms of design, the Recon 70 looks a lot like other headsets in the Turtle Beach range. However, the latter is completely plastic.
It is available in several colors including satin gray, camouflage navy blue, and camouflage khaki. But it is also available in blue, green and red to recall the colors of current consoles (PS4, Xbox One and Switch).
The helmet is rather light (approximately 220 g) which really allows it to be kept on your head for several hours without feeling any weight. It is rather comfortable at the level of the ears.
It is possible to turn the ear cups 90 ° which is quite practical for the transport and storage side. The comfort of the headphones is quite good, even if we are far from the “pro” models which are more “softer”.
They are also padded with foam and offer fairly decent sound insulation. The case is rather comfortable also at the level of the arch which has a fine foam padding on its internal part.
Comfortable to wear?
As for the integrated control options, we have the minimum with a dial that is present on the left side of the headset to adjust the volume. We also have a microphone which is present via a rocker microphone.
The cool option is the fact that the microphone automatically switches to “Mute” when you replace it in its place. The sound will reactivate itself once the microphone is lowered again. As for the hoop, it can be adjusted to ten different sizes depending on the size of your head.
Once placed on your head, the helmet remains of modest comfort thanks to its lightness. This is a product primarily intended for console players, since the PVC cable is approximately 120 cm long. Which is ideal for connecting it to a controller, but a bit short depending on your PC setup. The sound offered by the 40mm headphones with neodymium magnets is 20Hz – 20kHz.
Audio Output for Turtle Beach
It’s not the prettiest audio output we have, but for the price it’s still okay. As for the quality of the microphone, again it is rather interesting for the entry level. When you play online, your friends will hear you fine.
Small problem, the microphone is far enough from your mouth. This will pose two problems. The first, is that you may hear the ambient noises of the room in which you are.
The second is that when using software (such as Discord), you may need to increase the gain of your capture device in order to obtain sufficient volume.
In conclusion, this Turtle Beach Recon 70 turns out to be a perfect small model for beginner players or those who do not want to invest large sums in gaming accessories. If you play online occasionally, don’t have long three-hour gaming sessions, this model is perfect for you.
Lightweight, therefore comfortable (despite a very modest reinforcement of the headband), the headphones also offer good sound proofing combined with good audio quality in relation to quality / price. The microphone will also allow you to communicate with your friends online without quality worries.
Succeeding the excellent C910, the C920 largely incorporates the ergonomics of the previous top of the range Logtitech model. It thus embeds a Full HD sensor of 1920 x 1080 pixels covered with a glass plate, two microphones located on either side of the webcam and, of course, includes an automatic focus.
Design Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920
Three changes are to be noted on this new model. Without revolutionizing the design of the C920, Logitech has succeeded in giving it more character, in particular by bringing out the optical part of the microphones. It is very successful!. The second change is in the encoding of videos.
Instead of leaving this work to the processor, the webcam now has everything necessary to compress the video through the H264 codec. The video stream can thus more easily pass through USB 2.0.
Finally, like the Microsoft LifeCam Studio , its foot now has a screw thread allowing it to be attached to a tripod. It’s very useful. On the other hand, the webcam still cannot rotate sideways. You will have to turn the screen to point the C920 towards you … Less practical.
Image quality Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920
The image delivered by the C920 is excellent. When testing the C910, we noticed a drop in frame rate between 720p (45 fps) and 1080p (15 fps). This new version remains constant whether we are in HD or Full HD. It thus keeps 25 fps in a well-lit room which is perfectly fluid.
In low light, Logitech’s spearhead is doing well. The image loses, of course, in bit rate, but it remains fluid enough to hold a video conversation. In addition, the webcam keeps a low level of noise in the image.
A little advice, if the rendering seems a little dark to you, just switch to manual settings, increase the gain and slightly lower the exposure in order to have a brighter image with a slight loss of flow.
Logitech Software for C920 Webcam
Logitech offers a complete software suite with its C920 webcam. The program called “WebCam Software” serves as a gateway to all the others in the suite. It is therefore possible to take photos and record videos.
Notice to those who want fun in their conversations, like all slightly upscale Logitechs, the C920 comes with a Video Effects tool that includes many avatars and accessories for the face. These adapt to movements and expressions.
The software suite also allows you to transform your home into a remotely monitored cell. The webcam triggers recording when it detects movement. On the other hand, the software does not make it possible to warn by email as proposed by more advanced systems.
Sound quality Webcam
Logitech incorporates “RightSound” technology into its webcams. This function aims to reduce surrounding noise to make the voice clearer. On the other hand, if the noises are effectively reduced, this action degrades the sound quality. If the room is not too noisy, we recommend not to use this function.
The sound quality gains in quality. The voice of the interlocutor is perfectly recognizable. It’s amazing!
STRONG POINTS
Good rendering day and night.
Fluid image day and night.
Excellent sound reproduction.
Complete software suite.
No screws (standard photo).
WEAK POINTS
Lateral rotations not possible.
CONCLUSION
Logitech’s new high end webcam does even better than the previous model. Its excellent sound reproduction and image quality put it a step above the other models in this comparison. Maybe you also need similar product information. Some time ago I also made an article about the Logitech C922 webcam review, you can see it as a comparison.
The world of gaming mice is not the easiest to understand and you can sometimes get lost given the number of possible choices. But Logitech has already established it self in this market and continues. Once again, to make the concept of the Proteus Core flourish with this new high-quality wired version the G502 Hero. We tested it for you and today offer you a recap.
Features of the Logitech G502 Hero
Technical characteristics
Weight : 121 grams (139 with weights installed)
Dimensions : 132 x 75 x 40 mm
Cable length : 2.10m
Sensor : HERO 16K
Maximum resolution : 16,000 dpi
Connection type : Wired (USB)
Compatible OS : Windows 7+, macOS 10.11+, Chrome OS
Number of profiles : 5 (requires version 127.1.7)
ED system : Yes, with color customization
The reputation of the Logitech G502 is well established and it is probably not this Hero version , the third wired model of the mouse. Which will make us say the opposite. It is obviously not free from all faults, but nevertheless represents all that a gamer can expect from a gaming mouse, as long as it is not specialized in a type of game like the MMO, for example. It is without any problem that you will find it in the many comparative gaming mice on the web.
The ergonomics of the mouse
Above all, you should know that this G502 Hero mouse is the third wired version of the Proteus Core. A material released a few years ago that was very well received when it was released. One of its strengths being its ergonomics. It is quite logical that Logitech decides not to change too much at this level. We therefore end up with a G502 Hero with a sporty design that knows how to differentiate itself from its competitors. While keeping the fairly marked recess provided for putting its thumb.
It is in palm grip usethat this mouse will reveal its full potential to you and even a large hand can be placed on it thanks to its dimensions of 13.2 x 7.5 x 4cm. But beware of the fingers that could potentially protrude for some really very tall people. Lovers of claw grip and fingertip can be reassured since the design does not close the door to these types of use.
Is it precise enough?
In short, the G502 Hero is capable of operating up to speeds of 10.16m / s, supporting accelerations up to 40g and has a 16,000 dpi sensor. If that doesn’t mean much to you, know that we’re really dealing with high quality hardware here. Without the slightest parasitic software smoothing. You may already know this, but a 16,000 dpi sensor, while looking great on paper, is not very useful in use.
We challenge anyone to play a game with such sharp precision without going crazy the cursor will circle your screen with every tiny flick of the wrist. So rest assured, even if we switch to 12K displays in a few months, your mouse will still havetop precision. Only the dial can reduce the feeling of precision when it is “unlocked” and can roll freely. The scroll can sometimes be done in an almost chaotic manner.
The slightly light customization
This G502 Hero can be personalized on two different boards. First, Logitech proposes to increase the weight of this one thanks to five small masses of 3.6g each, making it possible to increase the total weight from 121g to 139g. Basically a little heavy, only players looking for a very strong grip will be delighted by this news. The weights can’t really be arranged as we see fit, everything is below the G502. But if you only plan to use three for example, you can still have fun changing the balance slightly by placing everything backwards or all the way forward, if possible.
The other way to customize this mouse is its set of LEDs the logo on the top and the selected profile indicator (which we’ll talk about later) can be configured in different colors and different types of displays. You will have a choice of effect pulsation of color cycle (all colors are displayed in a row). And even screen sampler (the color displayed on the selected area is displayed on the LED) or of audio viewer who gets the rhythm of the music heard.
Easy to access software
Logitech G Hub software, obviously natively compatible with our G502 Hero, is not the most complete but has a certain ease of access. After choosing the right peripheral on the software home, it will take you to the mouse configuration and offers three tabs LED management, with the features we were talking about above but also the possibility of completely disabling these lights the assignments of actions to the different buttons and sensitivity management.
Each button can therefore be configured more or less as we see fit. System shortcuts (close the session, take a screenshot, change the volume, etc). Actions in software (mute the microphone in Discord for example). A substitution for the keys (useful for refreshing a page with the F5 button configured on the mouse) but also a system of macros. Which allows several actions to be chained with a single click.
Up to 5 different dpi profiles
For sensitivity, the mouse offers you to configure up to 5 different dpi profiles. Which can be used in game thanks to the three dedicated keys one allowing you to go to the definition above. The other to go below and the third button, named “sniper”, to select the lowest and thus gain in precision.
It is also possible to manually configure 5 different profiles each containing distinct settings on the three types of settings we have just mentioned. The software nevertheless prefers to offer you a system of profiles automatically offered according to the game launched, which is practical to save time. Last thing, the software logically allows you to update your mouse. Just go to settings and check if G Hub offers a new version.
As you can see above, you have a wide choice of sensitivity settings on this mouse. All programmable and adjustable directly in game.
Our opinion on the G502 Hero gaming mouse
To be honest, this G502 Hero is in no way surprising. But that is precisely not his vocation at all. If Logitech offers this material on the market, it is simply to continue the momentum of the Proteus Core.
Easy to use, high quality, with a relatively affordable price (and sometimes on sale at superb prices). with a sporty design without being futuristic and with welcome features. We are dealing here with a product mastered from the ground up despite a few small gaps. Whether you are a beginner or experienced in the world of PC gaming. This G502 Hero mouse will suit you without a doubt, As long as you are not looking for a lot of customization or a mouse dedicated, for example, to MMOs with 19 buttons.
