Philips 48OLED807 : Good oled TV performance

Gaming Support – The Philips OLED807 embeds all that is best in a “small” television: an Oled Ultra HD panel, the sixth generation Philips P5 processor, a light sensor associated with an Ambient Intelligence mode, a 70 W 2.1 audio system , HDMI 2.1 4K/120 Hz VRR and of course the Philips brand’s own Ambilight system.

    Presentation

The Philips 48OLED807 features the new 48-inch (≈122 cm) 10-bit Oled EX panel displaying an Ultra HD definition of 3840 x 2160 pixels. If it is indeed a latest generation panel, the peak of brightness is more limited than that of OLED televisions of 55 inches and more. LG Display explains that the pixel density on the 42 and 48 inch panels does not increase the brightness effectively.

The TV retains its original four-sided Ambilight ambient lighting system, but the system is much more accurate. It is no longer green, blue and red diodes to generate each color, but three RGB diodes. The OLED807 incorporates the sixth version of the Philips P5 AI video processor which supports the ambient light sensor to adapt the image to surrounding lighting.

This television is also distinguished by the integration of a central rotating stand, an accessory that has become very rare on televisions, and even more so on high-end models. Everything is powered by Android 11.

The Philips 48OLED807 is currently sold for around €1300. All larger models have a brighter Oled EX panel, but the functionality remains the same. It is thus available in 55 (Philips 55OLED807), 65 (Philips 65OLED807) and 77 inch (Philips 77OLED807) versions at respective prices of 1600, 2000 and 3900 €.

All brightness and colorimetry measurements mentioned in this article were performed with a SpectraCal C6-HDR probe and CalMAN Ultimate software.

    Image quality

The Philips 48OLED807 uses a sub-pixel structure identical to that of the LG 65C2 which uses a latest generation Oled EX panel. However, as we said, the peak of brightness is not comparable. The operation of the Oled panel is identical to that of other models equipped by LG Display.

The blue and green sub-pixels are in the shape of fairly thin sticks, while the red sub-pixel is larger in order to support a higher peak of brightness, while maintaining a color temperature close to 6500 K.

Oled technology offers very good viewing angles and limits the loss of brightness at 45° to 18% – but we now find even better on the QD-Oled side with almost zero loss at 45°. Obviously, there is no variation on the black, the sub-pixels being switched off individually.

    HDR

The Philips 48OLED807 is compatible with all HDR formats, whether the dynamic metadata formats Dolby Vision and HDR10+, or the classic HDR10 and HLG.

With a maximum HDR signal at 10,000 cd/m², the Display Tone Mapping used by Philips follows the reference EOTF curve well, while being very slightly above it. From 65% luminance, the signal is smoothed to retain detail in bright areas up to the TV’s maximum capabilities.

The Philips 48OLED807 is content with a peak brightness of 685 cd/m² in Filmmaker mode and in Home Cinema mode. This is a little less than the 750 cd/m² of the Philips 55OLED856 and much less than the 824 cd/m² of the Philips 65OLED936, but it’s pretty standard for a slab under 55 inches.

    Video games

We measured the display lag at just 15.3ms, less than one frame per second at 60Hz. practical, there is no lag between the action on the controller and its impact on the screen. With an afterglow time of less than a millisecond, OLED technology makes it possible to minimize the effects of blurring behind moving objects, which however remain present due to retinal persistence.

The Philips 48OLED807 has two HDMI 2.1 inputs (1 and 2) compatible with 4K 120 Hz signals, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) which automatically reduces display delay and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) which eliminates image tearing and micro-jerks. This TV is also compatible with FreeSync Premium from Xbox One S/X and Xbox Series S/X, as well as Nvidia’s G-Sync for PC gaming enthusiasts.

    Clouding

As with all OLED televisions on the market, each pixel is managed individually and therefore there is no clouding. Banding effects (horizontal or vertical stripes) are also absent. The homogeneity of brightness on the panel is excellent: we measured the average difference in white homogeneity across the entire 48-inch panel at just 2%. This very good result is again explained by the use of OLED technology.

    Consumption

We measured consumption at 61 W on our test chart with white set to 150 cd/m². Relative consumption is thus limited to 96 W/m², which is very slightly lower than the average of the televisions tested (around 100 W/m²). This is still far from the consumption of an LG 65G2 which is content with 70.4 W / m², but the most economical are LCD televisions equipped with a simple backlighting system like the Xiaomi 55 P1E (66 W / m²).

    Repairability

The Philips 48OLED807 displays an honorable repairability index of 7.9/10. The note is handicapped by a 10.2/20 in ” duration of availability and [the] delivery times of spare parts “, and an 11/20 concerning the price of spare parts compared to the price of the new product. The repair should be rather long and quite expensive.

    Conclusion

The Philips 48OLED807 is a very good Oled TV, boasting excellent image quality and flawless ergonomics. We can simply blame it for the weakness of its audio system and its peak brightness set back from that of the larger models, but it has significant advantages, such as its high-performance Philips P5 processor, its rotating foot or its Ambilight system. which always has its small effect.

  • Full review of the AOC C24G1 gaming monitor

Full review and review of the AOC C24G1 144 Hz gaming monitor

There are a large number of screens on the market: for office automation, for design, for gaming, among others. However, not all are recommended for all activities, we must make a choice and one we’ll talk about today is the screen gamer AOC C24G1 . Curved, with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time set at 1ms by the manufacturer, we are close to everything a seasoned player will be looking for.

    Features of the AOC C24G1

    1. Screen type : LCD, VA
    2. Dimensions : 51.3 x 24.5 x 53.7 cm
    3. Weight : 4.46kg
    4. Size in inches : 24 ″
    5. Response time : 1ms
    6. Resolution : 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080p Full HD)
    7. Refresh rate : 144Hz
    8. Height-to-width ratio : 16: 9
    9. Curved screen : yes
    10. Height, rotation, tilt adjustments : yes
    11. 3D : no
    12. Ports : HDMI x2, VGA, DisplayPort, jack
    13. Integrated speakers : no

This AOC C24G1 gaming screen therefore directly addresses the screen market for demanding gamers and meets, on paper, all the usual prerequisites high frequency at 144Hz, low response time at 1ms , large size of screen, rotation and tilt quite wide and especially low price for such a screen.

It even does us the honor of being curved, bringing still additional comfort. But does it really respond to all requests and is it not by adding features, the very principle of a screen, the display quality, is not a little below expectations? Let’s see this together.

    FreeSync Technology

In terms of functionality, FreeSync technology is very welcome here. This is a system that matches the screen refresh rate to the number of images per second returned by the graphics card, avoiding screen “tearing” and micro slowdown problems. The FreeSync range here is very wide, it can vary from 48 to 144Hz as it sees fit, depending on what your equipment is sending back to it.

In fact, the difference is really noticeable in game between 60Hz (the classic of screens) and the 144Hz offered here it’s not just a legend or a number thought to please the players, we are entitled here to a real significant additional comfort.

    A very correct response time

The promise of AOC is none other than a response time of 1ms, which is the goal of a large number of gamers since the end of cathode ray screens. In short, the higher the response time, the more the input lag will suffer.

For information, this famous “input lag” is the delay between an action performed on a joystick / keyboard / mouse and its representation on the screen for example you press space to jump, it will be the delay between the pressure of the bar and the jump on the screen.

For this AOC C24G1 gamer screen, the input lag is around 8ms on average, an excellent finding for a VA panel. As a reminder, there are different types of panels VA, IPS, TN and OLED, each with its own strengths. For the VA panel, it is in terms of contrasts that is the big advantage (which was also verified earlier in the test), despite their reputation for “slow panels” and imperfect viewing angles it is therefore a very good score to have 8ms of input lag on this screen.

Our opinion on the AOC C24G1 screen

Without tongue in cheek , the AOC C24G1 gaming screen is obviously an excellent product. But as is often the case in the world of screens designed for gaming, despite the VA panel, one should not expect a perfect display in terms of colors and temperatures.

You must necessarily go through the settings box to be able to get by (at least, it is possible) with which more is a rather tedious menu, being able to put off more than one if the idea behind the purchase of the The screen was “plug & play”, or “install and play directly, without the hassle”.

Nevertheless, this screen is very good in all other areass: Functional and wide-range FreeSync, very good response time, very correct input-lag and top design with a little thought for cable management lovers.

    Very good ergonomics

Whoever says curved screen necessarily says that its depth will be a little more important than elsewhere we are far from a “sheet of paper” rendering that some screens are capable of offering however, we do not choose a curved screen for its exceptional thinness.

In terms of general design, we are on a very sober screen with a few rather welcome touches of red which give it a sporty effect without overdoing it, simply enhancing the contours a little.

The lines are very fine (apart from the curved back, of course) and the edges very thin. The foot offers an opening for passing cables in order to optimize storage. It is possible to adjust its height over a range of 13 cm, the inclination is possible from -4 ° to + 21.5 °.

Rotation is also part of the game, with an angle of -34 ° to + 34 °. Everything is quite easy to change, you won’t have to “force” the screen to move it as you see fit.

The only real downside here will be the size of the stand which, while logically large enough to properly hold the screen, will tend to take up a lot of space on a desk that’s too shallow.

If this is your case, you can opt for the removable arm solution (sold separately) which will allow you to free up quite impressively the space previously occupied by the original stand. What’s more, these arms are designed to hang two screens, so you can give yourself double the pleasure.

    Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, we find on this AOC C24G1 gaming screen a VGA port , a DisplayPort and two HDMI as well as the jack port and the power port , it would be a shame not to be able to connect the screen all the same. The adjustment buttons are arranged under the screen on the right, with some information in relief on the interest of each button.

Unfortunately these lead to a poorly mastered menu on the part of AOC , with very tedious navigation. It is possible to adjust brightness, contrast, color temperature, gamma, overdrive and other settings dedicated to video games.

Standard settings acceptable, but to be re-configured

As so often unfortunately, computer screens are always delivered with standard settings that do not reflect the capabilities of the panel. Colors poorly managed, temperature sometimes too bright, in short, the first switching on does not give you very little desire and the settings would be more suited to an exhibition in store under dozens of spotlights than on your desk in the middle of a few LEDs of your RGB peripherals.

It will therefore be advisable to venture into the screen settings, brightness and gamma above all, although unfortunately this monitor is not the most flexible that we have seen you will only find it after hard work colors considered faithful.

It will therefore be necessary to realize that this is a screen to work on to have a truly satisfactory rendering. The contrasts are intended to be very realistic and approach the masters in the field and this is the big advantage of the screen, obviously thanks to its VA panel.

    We love :

    • The beloved frequency of 144Hz
    • FreeSync works great over a wide range
    • The design of the screen very well thought out (with cable management)
    • Contrasts worthy of a VA panel
    • Curved screen very comfortable in game

    We like less:

    • Difficulty adjusting colors correctly
    • Tedious menus
    • Viewing angles tarnished by the VA panel

  • How to choose headphones with the best sound quality

How to choose headphones with the best sound quality

GAMING SUPPORT – When choosing headphones, you may come across terms that sound foreign. Call it housing, ear pads, and soundstage. In this section, we will discuss the meaning of these terms and the basic points that should not be overlooked when choosing headphones.

Using headphones can make you more comfortable when listening to music, watching movies, or playing games. However, the sound quality produced by each headphone product is of course different. Likewise with the connection, both wired and wireless. In addition, various designs are also prone to sound leakage.

When choosing headphones, you may come across terms that sound foreign. Call it housing, ear pads, and soundstage. In this section, we will discuss the meaning of these terms and the basic points that should not be overlooked when choosing headphones.

Adjust the type of housing with use

Housing is the term used to refer to the ear cups on headphones. The housing also functions as a driver storage area (the speakers inside the headphones). In general, housing on headphones is divided into two types, namely closed-back and open-back. We will briefly explain the two types of housing.

Closed-back, the sound doesn’t leak easily and is suitable for outdoor use

A distinctive feature of the closed-back type housing is that it has a high level of sound insulation. This type is recommended for outdoor use or in places where noise is not permitted because the sound does not leak easily. The ability to reduce noise from outside (noise) is also only owned by the closed-back type.

Another advantage is that you can hear clear sound, even low bass sounds. You can also concentrate more on the music that is being played. But keep in mind that your ears will get tired if you use closed-back headphones for a long time.

The open-back type housing has a low level of sound insulation so it can produce clear sound. This type is recommended for those of you who want to listen to a wider soundstage and relax.

The open-back type housing also doesn’t put too much pressure on the ears. You will not easily feel tired even if you listen to music for a long time. Unfortunately, there are not as many open-back type headphone products on the market as closed-back types.

Because the sound leaks easily and is wide in shape, this housing is not suitable for outdoor use. The weakness of this type is that it cannot produce good deep bass sound. If you want to listen to rock or EDM music, you should choose the closed-back type.

    Choose by type of earpad

Ear pads are headphone pads that are in direct contact with your ears. The shape of the earpads greatly affects sound transmission and ear comfort. In general, ear pads are divided into two types, namely over-ear and on-ear. Free that best suits your taste.

    Over-ear, stable when worn

Pads of the over-ear type cover the entire ear. These earpads are suitable for long periods of use and are recommended if you want to fully enjoy your music. Over-ear type ear pads have high stability when worn so they don’t shift easily. Another advantage is that it can produce clear sound and you won’t get tired easily when using headphones.

If you choose closed-back headphones with over-ear cushions, you will be immersed in the music you enjoy. However, the cushioning of these headphones tends to put pressure on the ears. If you are wearing a large accessory like earrings, be careful as they can catch on easily.

On-ear, lightweight and recommended for long-term use

Bearings of the on-ear type occupy only royal leaves. Since they do not completely cover the ear, they are comfortable to wear and suitable for observing sound quality. It is also small in size and light in weight so it is easy to carry and does not cause fatigue even if it is used for a long time.

However, you may feel uncomfortable wearing these earpads because your ears will feel like they are pinched. Sound leakage is also more common than the over-ear type. So you have to be careful when wearing it where it’s not allowed to be noisy.

Choose based on the connection method

There are two headphone connection methods that you can choose from, namely wired and wireless. Let’s check the discussion regarding the advantages and disadvantages of each of these connection methods.

Cable type, rare loss of sound quality and delay

The characteristics of the cable connection method are that there is rarely a decrease in sound quality and minimal noise. In addition, there will also be no delay in sound entering the headphones.

This type is suitable for watching movies or videos, playing games, and other things that are concerned with sound quality. Moreover, in the world of professional games, you are required to make a strategy at the right time. Therefore, use these headphones to avoid sound delay.

Unfortunately, the connection cable length is limited, which makes it quite difficult to use. If you pull on the cable, the connection may be lost. However, now there are many products that have replaceable cables (recable). If you want long-term use, make sure the headphone cable can be replaced as needed.

Wireless type, easy to carry and can connect with Bluetooth

The most interesting advantage of the wireless type is that the connection method does not require cables. You can enjoy music while relaxing in bed or walking around the room. The connection will not be interrupted even if you are far from the device, as long as the distance is not more than 10 meters. This type is very comfortable to use and recommended for traveling.

Unfortunately, the wireless connection sometimes causes sound delays. You should also recharge the battery. When watching movies or playing games, there may be a delay between the video and the sound produced. You also have to be diligent about charging or checking the remaining power so that the headphones don’t turn off while in use.

Choose based on the genre and resolution of the music heard

Each headphone has its own sound quality. There are two types of sound, namely bass and treble. To be able to determine the right product, you can see the frequency listed on the headphone specifications. The frequency in the specifications is usually written as a number, for example 40 Hz–20 kHz. The lower the lower frequency limit, the better the headphones produce bass sound.

The sound frequency is related to the genre of music you like. If you are a bass-head, of course the choice is headphones with a frequency of 40 Hz and below. On the other hand, some people prefer to listen to high-resolution audio that is close to how it actually sounds. If you are one of them, choose headphones that can reach frequencies of 40 kHz or more.

    Choose based on specialization

You also need to check the specific features of the headphones. If you want to watch movies with true-to-life sound quality, we recommend surround headphones. This type of headphone has 5.1 channel or 7.1 channel speakers which present a three-dimensional audio effect.

In addition, there is a headphone monitor which is a professional type. This type has the characteristics of a flat or flat sound, without EQ (equalizer) settings or tuning from the manufacturer. Therefore, this type of headphone is also commonly called honest in the audio world. These headphones are recommended for those of you who are concerned with sound quality.

Check the noise canceling feature or noise cancellation

Noise canceling is a feature to reduce noise by using the opposite wave. This feature can reduce outside noise, such as the sound of air conditioners, cars, and the sounds of people around you. Those of you who like to wear headphones while studying or working will be greatly helped by this feature. Music can still be enjoyed, even without having to turn the volume up.

While comfortable to wear, you may get a migraine or nausea from tired ears when you wear headphones for too long. This is due to the radiation of sound waves from the opposite direction. If you are interested in this feature, we recommend that you try it directly in the store and choose a product based on your condition.

For a low power portable music player, choose one with low impedance

Impedance is a value that affects sound volume expressed in units of ohms (Ω). The smaller the impedance value, the higher the maximum audio volume. For the use of portable music players or cellphones with small outputs, you should choose headphones with a small impedance value.

However, an impedance value that is too small will result in noise. For this reason, if you play music via a smartphone, choose headphones with an impedance value of less than 30 Ω.

  • Razer Basilisk V2 mouse review : a world of possibilities

    Razer Basilisk V2

Razer Basilisk V2 mouse review: a world of possibilities

The first Basilisk of the name had received the excellent score of 18/20 when we tested it in October 2018. Water has flowed under the bridges since then and the other players in the sector have also lined up mice with recognized qualities. Does Razer’s FPS-Cut Mouse 2020 still have what it takes to stay at the top of the table?

As with the recently tested Deathadder V2 , Razer opted for a change in continuity since, at first glance, the Basilisk V2 retains the curvaceous design and taut lines of the previous version. Looking more closely, we can see some very present differences.

A thick oblique line with a shiny black finish now surrounds the mouse, separating the upper part (buttons and wheel) from the rest. The modification is purely aesthetic and somewhat reinforces the aggressive lines of the mouse.

    Button Adjustment

The mouse sensitivity adjustment buttons positioned behind the wheel have also been revised, more square in shape, the bottom button has its lower side marrying the oblique line mentioned above while the top button rotates to present one of its edges on the user’s finger, making it more easily identifiable in the heat of the moment.

Finally, the grip changes texture and goes from a grooved rubber to a textured rubber identical to that of the Deathadder V2.

We also note that, on the right side, the grip rises a little higher than on the 2018 version. The notched wheel still has a resistance adjustment positioned under the mouse, just like the profile change button.

what the button at this mouse?

Regarding the buttons precisely, in addition to the usual left and right clicks and the two sensitivity adjustment buttons, note the three slice buttons, the profile change button located under the mouse and especially the three buttons on the wheel.

Because in addition to the usual classic vertical click, the wheel of the Basilisk V2 now offers two transverse clicks! A lack noted in 2018 which is therefore filled here, thank you Razer.

On the other hand, we note the usual ambiguity of the number of programmable buttons announced on the product sheet, which can lead to confusion. Note: The Basilisk V2 has 11 physical buttons. Of these 11 buttons, only 10 are programmable, with Razer excluding the left click for obvious reasons. On the other hand, Synapse proposes to add the two front / rear directions of the wheel to the count, bringing the total number of programmable inputs to 12.

We therefore have 11 physical buttons, 10 of which are programmable and a total of 12 possible inputs. Inside, same treatment as for the Deathadder V2: sensitivity now rises to 20,000 DPI via the adoption of the Focus + sensor , Omron switches are replaced by Razer optical switches guaranteed for 70 million clicks, the pads adopt the PTFE to ensure optimal glide and the USB cable is adorned with the house Speedflex braiding.

Fishing compared to the previous version

On the other hand, where the Basilisk V2 is fishing compared to the previous version. it is at the level of the third side button equipped with a paddle that we called “sniper key” during the test of the previous model.

We noticed at the time that the mouse was delivered with 2 pallets of different lengths. In 2020, the Basilisk V2 is only delivered with a single pallet, which is all the more regrettable as this pallet is really at the heart of the novelties offered by this version.

Because indeed, THE novelty to remember on this Basilisk V2 is the Hypershift. The Hypershift?. It is this function which proposes to bring on a mouse what the Shift key does on a keyboard. It therefore allows you to assign a new function to each button pressed as long as the Hypershift button is held.

Concretely, this means that on paper each key can be assigned twice, thus increasing the number of possible inputs to 24. “On paper” because in real use, we already know that the profile change button located under the mouse will not be used much like the two slice buttons which adjoin the Hypershift palette.

The paddle must be maintained by our thumb, indeed difficult to reach the other two buttons without releasing it. Note, however, that the Hypershift function can be assigned to any other mouse button.

    What satisfaction to use?

A realistic count would therefore report at least fifteen easily usable inputs which already allows a fairly crazy number of customizations. Capable of satisfying both FPS enthusiasts to whom the original Basilisk was intended, but also of meeting the needs.

Fans of other styles of games, MOBA and STR in mind, without using a specific mouse covered with buttons of all kinds. And here, the management of profiles which may at times seem dispensable takes on its full meaning.

There are indeed many customization possibilities and only the limit of the five profiles that can be saved in the memory integrated into the mouse must be taken into account. Note that the profiles are not limited in Synapse. You can therefore completely create 32 for your 32 favorite games, then alternate them in memory in the mouse according to your playing habits.

    Button Customization

As with any Razer product, button customization is handled from within Synapse, alongside sensitivity and RGB lighting settings. In this regard, note that the RGB areas of the mouse do not change compared to 2018. Only the logo and the wheel are affected.

A bit of a shame, the slash that cuts the mouse in half or the slice buttons could also have benefited from a shimmering lighting that flatters the retinas of players of good taste.

As for the grip, no change with the 2018 model, the asymmetrical design of the Basilisk V2 reserves it to the right hand only. The relatively small mouse is always oriented more towards a “claw grip”, with the fingertips.

However, nothing prevents the user from resting the palm on it, even if the big patouns will quickly feel cramped. Also note that in this case the little finger will be directly in contact with the desktop, nothing is done so that it can rest on the mouse.

    Conclusion

The Basilisk V2 is therefore a nice update which, if it simply refines the formula already proven in 2018 for the external part.  Offers a lot of appreciable new features internally, starting with the Hypershift which increases the possibilities offered by the mouse tenfold.

This is an excellent mouse which, unlike the previous version, aims further than FPS enthusiasts and now targets MOBA and other RTS enthusiasts. A little more fantasy would have been appreciated, but we can bet that additional RGB areas will brighten up the V3, which is sure to raise an already very high level.

    Good points (+)

    • Materials, finish
    • Number of buttons
    • Hypershift function which increases the possibilities of customization tenfold
    • Wheel with cross clicks (finally!)
    • Grips less prone to clogging
    • Very comprehensive setting via Synapse

    Negative points (-)

    • Only one pallet size included
    • RGB zones identical to the 2018 version
    • Mouse a little small
    • Clearly higher price compared to the V1

With the Basilisk V2, Razer offers an excellent wired mouse that is very well finished and pleasant to use. The arrival of the Hypershift and the customization possibilities it offers covers a wide range of uses and will suit FPS fans as well as fans of MOBA or strategy games.

  • MSI GeForce GT 710 Review & Test

MSI GeForce GT 710 Review Specifications & Performance

MSI GeForce GT 710 is a GeForce Nvidia card supplied by MSI. It was first released by Nvidia on March 27, 2014  You can buy this card on Amazon for the price of $ 40 MSI GT 710 2GD3H LP Graphics Card Nvidia GT710 954 MHz 2048 MB PCI Express Black

The card consumes 19 Watts. The minimum recommended power supply for the PC using the GeForce GT 710 is 300 Watts. This card provides a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz. This card supports DirectX 12 technology, Nvidia PhysX , 3DVision and FXAA .

The GeForce GT 710 card has 192 shader processors with its 915 million transistors. The GPU was etched with a 28-nanometer manufacturing process. As for the texturing speed, it is 15.26. To compare it with the Radeon RX 6900 XT , the latter has a texturing speed of 771.2. When it comes to floating point performance, the Geforce GT 710 is at 366.3 gflops.

Advantages provided by these different technologies supported by the GT 710

The DirectX 12 allows the CPU to be multitasking for graphics processing. The tasks will be processed fairly quickly. This makes it possible to achieve a high level of performance. This technology makes it possible, among other things, to record parallel tasks and non synchronous shaders in the buffer memory.

Because of this, the different CPU cores can communicate with the GPU. With DirectX 11 technology, graphics processing tasks were bundled on a single CPU core, causing processing latency.

    Supports PhysX

The GT 710 also supports PhysX. It is a physics engine allowing real time physical effects to be enjoyed in video games. It was created in 2005 by the AGEIA Company then bought by Nvidia in 2008. It is adopted in various game platforms such as Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Nitendo Wii, PS3, PS4, Apple IOS, Android etc.

It also provides hardware acceleration for processors with CUDAs, more than 32 cores, and dedicated 256MB graphics memory. In this case, the PPU or GPU takes over in some calculations, which will allow the CPU to process other tasks. This allows for a smooth and smooth graphic rendering.

Indeed, the machine is less prone to saturation.

    3DVision

The 3DVision allows stereoscopic vision. It is a kit which is specially designed for LCD screens and certain CRT screens operating at 120 Hz. As for the FXAA, it is an antialiasing system developed by Nvidia in response to AMD’s MLAA.

It is a post processing shader allowing to analyze junction zones between 2 distinct surfaces and to treat only very different zones. This allows a significant time saving for graphics cards that do not have a high computing power.

The advantages of the card provided by MSI

MSI ensures the quality of components, especially capacitors. This allows the manufacturer to provide a 2 year warranty. The estimated lifespan is in fact around 10 years under full charge.

The temperature is controlled and the efficiency is improved. The ESR is all the lower. Although the maximum temperature is 95 ° C, heat dissipation is provided by the heatsink completely covering the GPU and the integrated memory.

Suddenly, the fans of the PC will not panic to refresh the card. This avoids noise pollution and ensures a pleasant environment during your gaming sessions.

The card is in ” Low Profile Format “. It can therefore be installed even in a fairly small box. This GT 710 card promises to be versatile and easy to install.

    Software Support

Additionally, MSI provides utilities that automatically download drivers, eliminating the need for additional research. They thus make it possible to avoid, among other things, fishing and hacking.

This card allows multi-screen management as it offers 3 graphics outputs : VGA, HDMI and DVI. This card can therefore be used to upgrade old PCs without an HDMI output.

This would make it possible to extend the lifespan of certain CPUs which will find a new vocation with this newly installed card. Additionally, for Linux system enthusiasts, this card is fully supported. The Linux driver is provided and maintained by Nvidia.

    GT 710 performance

The GT 710 is the generation planned to replace the GT 610. Here is a benchmarking comparing the performance of these two generations on 3D Mark. On G3D Mark, the GT 710 posted a score of 638. The Radeon RX 5700 XT got a score of 16702.For the GT 710, the chipset frequency is 954 MHz while it is 810 MHz for the GT 610.

For the GT 710 generation, the memory components switch at 1.6 GHz while the switching frequency was at 1 GHz for version 610. However, both versions have VGA, DVI and HDMI outputs.

If we use this card for cryptocurrency mining, it will have a speed of 21 Mh / s for one BTC (SHA256). Which means 21 million solutions generated per second.

    Finally For GT 710

In short, the Geforce GT 710 card is an entry-level graphics card. It is especially appreciated by the fact that it has 3 graphics outputs including VGA, DVI and HDMI. It thus makes it possible to upgrade old CPUs which only have one VGA output. It is also distinguished by the fact that it can support certain new functionalities such as DirectX 12.

This is an undeniable advantage, since the tasks relating to graphics processing can be processed simultaneously by the CPU cores. You can buy this card on Amazon for the modest sum of $ 40.

  • Review ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QM

    VG279QM asus monitor
    Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM Review

Review of the Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM, an almost perfect 27-inch screen for video games

We’ve been looking for a 27-inch, Full HD or 1440p gaming monitor for several months. With strict criteria in mind, namely that its price does not exceed $ 500 USD  and that its panel is refreshed to more than 144 Hz. Not easy to find.

Especially since we were looking for a candidate whose height can be adjusted, rotatable in all directions and has round feet. Or rectangular at worst. Indeed, the screen feet in Y, it’s beautiful, it’s modern, but it takes up too much space on the desk.

After hours of research, the Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM came to us as the right choice. On paper, anyway. Its base is rectangular and it costs between 410 and 440 euros depending on the brand. It also offers a whole set of ergonomic settings and it is compatible with G-Sync, Free-Sync, A-Sync .

    Supports ELMB and LFC technology

Better yet, This VG279 supports ELMB and LFC technology (see sidebar). Its matte IPS panel is refreshed to 240Hz base and can be pushed to 280Hz via the display menu as needed. It’s even HDR 400 compatible . Wow! Finally, it is thin-rimmed and does not have LEDs everywhere unlike some gaming monitors. So much the better!

See Also : Razer Raptor 27 Monitor review

This screen can be assembled in 2 minutes. You take it out of the box, you screw the base to the foot with t

he hand screw and voila, it is ready to take service.
The presence of ELMB, LFC and the absence of PWM are appreciated

    PWM or Pulse Width Modulation

This is a technology dedicated to adjusting the brightness of the panel and which is a vector of flickering. The Asus display doesn’t have one, and that’s good news for sensitive people.

And even for others, the eyes do not sting and do not cry, even after hours in front of the slab.

ELMB or Extreme Low Motion Blur : a processor hidden in the screen analyzes the scanning of the backlight and quickly turns it off, causing “black images” to be inserted between the images generated by the graphics card to maintain the impression of fluidity display.

    LFC or Low Framerate Compensation

This process multiplies the display time of the images on the screen (x2, x3, x4) in order to maintain an artificially high refresh rate when the G-Sync and the FreeSync drop below a certain level for maintain perfect fluidity in all circumstances.

for example: G-Sync is activated on the screen and suddenly in a game the frame rate per second drops to 25 fps. Normally, the screen should then lower its speed to 25 Hz. As it is technically limited to 53 Hz, slowdowns or tearing are likely to occur.

To avoid this, the LFC kicks in and makes the electronics believe that it is not 25 images but many more, in any case enough to cross the technical limit of the panel and force it to go up at a higher speed, which thus limits visual disturbances.

    Settings Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM

Once the VG279QM is positioned on the desk, the cables are passed through the hole provided for this purpose at the base of the stand, removing the small plastic hatch and repositioning it afterwards. Don’t worry, there’s room for three worry-free video cables.

Luckily, the VG279QM offers three video inputs (2 x HDMI 2.0 and 1 x DisplayPort 1.4) and a headphone output, all facing down. Good !

    USB Port

There is no USB plug and honestly we don’t find that to be a big deal. Some people probably like plugging keys or webcams into their screens. This is not our case.

Reaching out to the side to insert a USB device into the front of our tower is still feasible. If this is important for you, the 279QM does not have one at all, so you will have to turn to one of the models that we will mention below (from LG or Samsung).

    Power Consumption

This 27 inch is fed by an external block, small in size but in the classic format (i.e. a wire, followed by the block, then again a wire). Sacrilege! Given the consumption of the screen – 35 watts maximum – Asus could still have made the effort to design a power supply like smartphone charger.

However, using an external block has the advantage of allowing an easier and faster change in the event of a breakdown.

    Adjusted Position

Everything is plugged in, it’s time to adjust the height, tilt and position of the slab. And there it is … the foot. The slab rises and falls enough to end up either flush with the desk or more than 13 cm above the top.

The tilt angle is large enough to find the correct position. And if you want to use it vertically rather than horizontally, you can. The slab rotates 90 °. The connectors are then turned to the left.

Finally, the pivot present at the base of the base allows the foot and the screen to be rotated together. Nothing to say, it’s perfect.

Menu & Navigation Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM

After the physical adjustments, we move on to the software settings. It is accessed through a small joystick hidden behind, to the right of the screen, where the power button is also located. We quickly navigate the menus.

There are all the usual parameters (brightness, contrast, etc.) but also preprogrammed profiles which bear the name of types of games (strategy, race, FPS) or color adjustment (sRGB).

Among the options dedicated to gaming, there is the GamePlus to display times, sights and other elements superimposed on the screen but also the Shadow Boost which brightens to the extreme the dark shades.

    Navigation

First-person shooters will appreciate being able to make the shadows less dark to flush out potential “wild camping” enthusiasts. Also note the presence of a Vivid function which allows you to force the contours of certain objects with less success (see above, Vivid at 0 on the left, at 100 on the right).

However, we have two complaints against the OSD. The first, it is impossible to configure the passage from one video input to another on one of the two shortcut buttons at the back. It is therefore impossible to switch from one entrance to another in the blink of an eye.

The second criticism relates to the lack of gamma (white level) adjustment in the menu regardless of the profile. It is rare enough to be noted and surprised. A smooth transition to approach the results of the measurements.

More contrasted, the 27-inch slab was full

The TUF Gaming VG279QM had the right to its ritual passage under the probe of the lab and it offers us a good performance overall but it is not full success.

We tested the screen for the first time in Landscape mode , the default profile when it came out of the box. We simply printed it our classic settings for measurements and this is what it looks like.

    Brightness

Maximum and peak average brightness was measured at 440 cd / m 2 and 441 cd / m. The maximum average contrast ratio was raised to 1143: 1. Color fidelity drops to 2.3 (Delta E sRGB) or 3.04 (Delta E DCI-P3) and gamma peaks at 2.18. Let’s not forget a crucial measurement for gaming, the response time (black / white) is 9 ms.

We change mode to see! With the FPS profile , always calibrated with our settings, the situation changes drastically. Especially in terms of brightness: 244 cd / m 2 maximum average and 278 cd / m 2 peak. The contrast ratio is also down, 1093: 1.

    What these numbers tell us:

    • The brightness is really good and the setting offers great responsiveness in the OSD menu of the screen so that it can be adjusted very easily.
    • The contrast ratio is not very good. A classic on IPS but it is important to underline it. According to our rating scale, he does not obtain the average (3/10).
    • The homogeneity of the panel is relatively good, even if we note that some areas are less well backlit than others.
    • The gamma : the grays are a little imprecise at times – plugged as we say. But the gamma level has the merit of being constant throughout the test
    • The colorimetry is accurate, almost impeccable. The delta E is close to 2 (the closer to 0 the better), a very good point for a gaming screen … which can also be used to edit photos or create graphic content.
    • The response time is good for IPS, not known to be the most responsive technology out there.

We did not observe any annoying ghosting or ghosting effects except when overclocking the panel is pushed too far. There, it is reverse ghosting which appears and which can disturb the most sensitive pupils.

We did not notice any clouding either (white spots clearly visible on a black screen) despite the perfectible homogeneity of the panel. No light leaks at the frame level either: Asus has almost everything.

    Unexpected duels

Competition in the 27-inch market is fierce. Even fierce. We have therefore drawn on the latest models received at the editorial office and which seem to us the most able to compete in terms of price and / or technical sheets with the Asus TUF VG279QM.

We have chosen two: the Samsung C27RG50FQU at first. Very affordable but which clearly does not compare in terms of ergonomics.

  • Razer Mamba Elite Mouse Test And Review

    Razer Mamba Elite Mouse

    Razer Mamba Elite for comfortable?

Introduced in 2009 and renewed in 2015, the Mamba is now one of Razer’s flagship mice. This time, it is available in an Elite version with a new “5G” optical sensor. Comfort oriented, the Mamba does not change shape in its Elite version.

We therefore always benefit from a medium-sized mouse (125 x 69.9 x 43.3 mm), rather rounded and which accommodates the hand well.

    Ergonomics

We gladly put the whole palm on it, although the larger hands are invited to grab it in claw, fingers a little curved, for more nervousness in fast games in particular.

Its reasonable mass (100 g on the scale, 96 g without cable according to Razer) makes it also quite handy, a little less clumsy than a Naga Trinity, for example, although it cannot claim to equal the most agile mice. dedicated to FPS or Moba, often thinner and lighter (at Razer always, the Basilisk or even the DeathAdder ).

See Also : Logitech G305 Best Wired gaming Mouse

    Nice Experiance With Mamba Elite

Regardless, the Mamba Elite is appreciated above all for its versatility and is suitable for a wide variety of uses, in video games as in office automation. The grip is very good thanks to the curved edges and equipped with elastomer inserts.

When it comes to sliding too, the Mamba Elite behaves very well with its two large PTFE pads – a much smaller third pad surrounds the sensor and provides additional stability in addition to limiting the risk of dust getting lodged under the optics of the sensor.

    Quality of Product

In terms of finish, we appreciate the good quality of the matt plastics used and the impeccable adjustments that this Mamba Elite benefits from. The mouse remains sober, only the backlit areas bring a little fantasy and color.

Razer also highlights the Chroma effects of this RGB backlight distributed over 20 zones. Whether it’s just enjoying color variations or activating light alerts, it brings a touch of originality to the mouse with neat lighting and smooth transitions.

    Operation For Mamba Elite

As for the buttons, we appreciate the good reactivity of the main switches signed Omron. Guaranteed for 50 million activations, these have the good taste of not being noisy and remain relatively flexible. The slightly concave buttons also help to keep the fingers well in the center.

Well positioned, they are easily activated and are also reactive. Two other buttons take place above the dial to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor on the fly. Less well placed, these impose a certain digital gymnastics.

    Flexibility for use

Operating them in the heat of the moment is not advisable and we can hardly count on them for other functions, despite the possibility of assigning them other commands via the Synapse software.

The dial, for its part, is a treat to use. Sufficiently flexible to perform fairly fast scrolls, it remains well notched. It is associated with three switches: the classic one that activates when you press it. But also two lateral ones that activate when you tilt it to the right or to the left these are used for side scrolling in office automation, but can also be associated with any other function.

    Design And Precision

Like the other “Elite” mice, the Mamba Elite is equipped with the “5G” optical sensor manufactured by PixArt. A sensor first introduced with the DeathAdder Elite, but which is also found in the Lancehead Tournament Edition, the Basilisk and the Naga Trinity.

Very efficient, it supports speeds of up to 11.43 m / s and accelerations of up to 50 g. We have never been able to find fault with it. Even the fastest players can’t win it. We can thus perfectly use the Mamba Elite in low sensitivity and subject it to lively and wide movements at the same time, the viewfinder follows the slightest movement without problem.

    Razer Mamba Elite Sensor

Razer’s “5G” optical sensor, at the heart of the mouse. A use in high sensitivity is conversely quite possible, the sensor being able to climb up to 16,000 dpi. Remember, however, that at this extreme level, a movement of 2 cm is enough to make the pointer travel the width of 3 Ultra HD screens.

It is therefore perfectly unnecessary with current screen definitions, but as with speed and acceleration, who can do more can do less. However, manufacturers should rely on other commercial arguments to praise the qualities of their mice.

When it comes to surface recognition, the Mamba Elite accommodates a wide variety of materials and our satin test desk does not pose any problem. Optical technology requires, however, glass and other transparent and reflective materials are to be banned. We always recommend a good mouse pad anyway, especially for gaming, in order to enjoy optimal glide and precision, and also to reduce wear on the pads at the same time.

    Easy Setting Of Devices

Common to all Razer devices, Synapse provides access to several settings. First of all, you can change the function of the nine mouse buttons and assign them previously recorded macros. A second tab gives access to the sensor parameters, in particular to choose the sensitivity levels (up to 5).

The third tab is dedicated to backlight effects. You can choose one of the five pre-recorded, or create your own effect in Chroma Studio. The last tab is used to calibrate the sensor for the area of use of the mouse.

The settings can be saved in several profiles that can be associated with software so that they are loaded automatically when the software is launched. The mouse can accommodate up to 4 personalized profiles in its internal memory. the profile change can then be done without resorting to software, simply by pressing the dedicated button located under the mouse.

    Razer Software Support

Razer Mamba Elite download > Razer Mamba Download Software

    STRONG POINTS

    • Comfortable handling.
    • Good build quality.
    • Excellent optical sensor.
    • Soft and well notched at the same time, with side clicks.
    • Neat backlighting.
    • 4 personalized profiles in internal memory.

    WEAK POINTS

    • Hardly accessible sensitivity change buttons.

    CONCLUSION

Without forcing, the Mamba Elite remains the precise and comfortable mouse we’ve known since its first version. This new Elite version changes almost nothing in shape. But benefits from an optical sensor at the tip and responsive buttons. A mouse that is always so recommendable if you are looking for versatility.

  • Logitech G29 high end steering wheel – Like Real?

    Logitech G29 high end

    Logitech G29  Like Real Driving?

While Logitech announced in 2013 the end of production of gaming peripherals for consoles. Here it is still back in the race with a new steering wheel compatible with PS3, PS4 and PC (Windows). Logically called G29, it takes the essentials of the G27 and adds a few options.

Logitech did not start from scratch to design its new steering wheel. It must be said that he already had a good basis with his G27 , widely tested on PS3 and PC and generally satisfactory.

Although the latter has taken a little bit of old since the arrival of the T500 RS from Thrustmaster (then its successors T300 RS and TX ) and the rise of the more discreet Fanatec.

Unsurprisingly, we therefore find a flywheel base identical to that of the G27. Comprising two motors and a helical gear drive. Still no brushless motor as on the last generations of Thrustmaster (T300 RS, TX) and Fanatec (ClubSport Wheel Base), Logitech having preferred to keep its original technology.

A choice which is not without consequences, as we will see during the practical tests. On the other hand, the rotation detection is always done on 900 ° with a Hall effect sensor.(magnetic field), for more precision and better longevity.

    Logitech Made Change

Finally, a small selector located on the top allows you to choose between the PS3 and PS4 mode. No mention of any PC mode on the other hand, which may be surprising, especially since the manual is reduced to a few explanatory diagrams.

For more information, Logitech invites us to consult a PDF document on the web page dedicated to the G29 ; no installation CD-ROM, no real manual in the box too bad.

The changes therefore mainly concern the wheel, a sort of mix between that of the logitech G27 and that of the Driving Force GT.

From the first, we find the central core with three aluminum branches and leather finish, as well as the LED indicator of the engine speed; of the second the panoply of typically Play Station buttons (cross, square, circle, triangle, L1, R1, L2, R2, Home and now the Share and Option of the PS4 which replace the Select and Start of the PS3) in addition to a directional cross, +/- buttons and a wheel with central button.

The finish is generally good, with good quality plastics and serious assemblies, without play.

    What can be done G29?

    Logitech G29 high end

The leather finish is still present all around the steering wheel, which will delight those allergic to plastic and rubber textures. On the other hand, the finish of the seams remains relatively coarse and we still feel the roughness a lot.

Which may put off some of them, Regarding the fixation, no change there either, and that’s good. The system based on two plastic hooks which clamp the support in a vice is still proving convincing.

No tool needed, just tighten firmly anyway the two plastic screws on the top to ensure a good hold. You can easily fix the steering wheel on a table or desk. Dedicated racing supports (Playseat, Rseat, etc.) benefit from two threads located under the base, which provide more secure attachment to the product.

    Operation for G29

Since the kinship with the G27 is not denied, we also find the same aluminum paddles for gear changes, which follow the steering wheel in its rotation. Of good size, they perform their function well and produce a small audible click when actuated.

Too bad that one cannot choose between fixed and mobile paddles, since there are two schools on this subject and many players prefer that the paddles remain in the same position, so as not to confuse them beyond one complete turn of the steering wheel (900 ° = 2.5 turns, i.e. 1.25 turns in each direction). The wheel is also not interchangeable.

Far absent from the G29, the gear lever becomes optional (59 €). If it has not really improved in quality  it even loses the buttons and the directional cross of the model supplied with the G27, we find this absence difficult to accept given the price positioning of the steering wheel when it comes out (€ 399 ).

Despite its shortcomings (lack of precision, great flexibility), it had the merit of existing to offer an alternative to changing gears. Especially with a three-pedal crankset, its presence was amply justified. Therefore, don’t expect to take advantage of a rally handbrake lever either. Knowing that the optional lever is not designed for this use anyway.

    A still convincing crankset

Unlike Thrustmaster, who chose to offer their T300 RS with a very basic two-pedal crankset, in order to reduce costs. Leaving the player the choice to buy a more advanced model ( T3PA or T3PA-PRO), Logitech continues to offer a relatively advanced crankset, with three metal pedals, each of different hardness.

The accelerator pedal is thus the most flexible and is positioned behind the other pedals, closer to the driver. The latter are a little wider and identical in shape, but the brake pedal has a shorter stroke and a much greater resistance due to a slightly firmer spring and especially a rubber part positioned in stop – like on the optional Thrustmaster cranksets mentioned above.

No hardness or stroke adjustment is available. On the other hand, we are delighted to be able to adjust the spacing between the pedals, since the spacing between the brake pedals and

Quite heavy, the crank has rubber pads for good support on smooth surfaces. As well as a bar adorned with spikes for good grip on carpet. The lucky owners of a racing seat will also appreciate being able to fix it thanks to the screw threads provided for this purpose.

    Racing on console and PC

In order to evaluate the performance of this G29, we carried out several tests on console and PC. The latest from Logitech has therefore faced its main competitor, the T300 RS, also officially compatible with the PS3 and PS4. We also brought out our antique G25, admittedly a little less developed than a G27, but still valiant despite its age.

On PS3, no need to hope for an update of existing games or the console to support the wheel. The G29 is still recognized without problem, but strangely not as a G25 / G27. Alas, it behaves less well than the latter in Gran Turismo 5 and 6, the effects appearing less subtle.

For games that do not provide a dedicated steering wheel profile. The G29 is also unusable, since it is not recognized as a gamepad by the console. Which would have enabled emulation. However, this is not a big loss. Since the few games concerned are not very interesting to play behind the wheel anyway.

    The precision

The effects are here clearly marked and we can feel the cars going into understeer. Thanks to a progressive force which makes it possible to feel the road and to avoid uncontrolled skids.

The precision is also very good, allowing millimeter trajectories. If the force feedback generally reflects the different effects of the game well. It is nevertheless a little drier and less flexible than that offered by a T300 RS, which benefits from its brushless motor and a belt drive.

The sensations are therefore a little less faithful on the G29. A little more abrupt, but fans of simulation should nevertheless find their account. In fact, the Logitech steering wheel is largely made up for with its crankset. Which is much more pleasant to use than the basic model supplied by default with the T300 RS.

    The braking

The braking dosage is thus easier and the accelerator offers satisfactory precision. Thrustmaster’s flywheel therefore needs a better quality crankset to express its superiority.

Same story in a more arcade game like DriveClub, in which the G29 shows great dynamism. Without however adding the smoothness of a T300 RS or the brutal power of a T500 RS. The stability of the G29 crankset is on the other hand an asset in this game where trapper braking is legion.

No miracle, however, with regard to driving sensations at the wheel in general. The game gives a certain inertia to the vehicles and makes driving a little less incisive than in a real simulation. It is nevertheless very pleasant to play in this title behind the wheel. Finally, to end with the PC experience, we appreciate the driver allowing the creation of a profile with configuration of each key.

Unsurprisingly, Project CARS is also perfectly compatible here, as is Assetto Corsa. The latter confirms our impressions on PS4, with a precise steering wheel, but less thin and flexible in its effects than the T300 RS.

    STRONG POINTS

    • Convincing three-pedal crankset.
    • Quite powerful force feedback.
    • Compatible with PS3, PS4 and PC.
    • Simple and efficient fixing system.

    WEAK POINTS

    • Sometimes a little dry backlash.
    • Leather finish seams.
    • Movable pallets, no mechanism to make them fixed.
    • Gear lever now optional.

    CONCLUSION

A worthy successor to the G27, the G29 evolves smoothly and always offers good sensations. It does face stiffer competition, however, as Thrustmaster’s T300 RS has been there and is slightly more convincing when it comes to the steering wheel itself.

Logitech makes up for it without difficulty, however, with its good three-pedal crankset. Although it does not match that of the T500 RS (T3PA-PRO). This unfortunately translates into a high price, even though the gear lever is now optional.

  • Logitech Dual Action Gamepad review

    Logitech Dual Action Gamepad

Logitech Dual Action Gamepad review & Experiences

The Dual Action Gamepad is a more advanced version of the Precision Gamepad. It does not have the latter’s translucent dress but a midnight blue shell. On the other hand, it is equipped with two Chinese hats, which represents a significant advantage. Their coating is quite specific since it is soft and very adherent, which allows them to hold them well under the thumb.

The Dual Action Gamepad also has two buttons in the middle, four on the right side and four triggers. The joypad comes with Logitech profiler software. This one, as soon as the device is installed, scans your PC to find the games for which it has a configuration or not.

    Testing

On our test PC, the software found five of the seven games present and offered two profiles already defined. Note that he found neither GTA Vice City nor FIFA 2005.

It scans the PC and automatically recognizes compatible games. In use, the Dual Action Gamepad is just as effective as its little brother Precision Gamepad. We just note that its directional pad, a little “buried” in the hull requires a little time to adapt before not overflowing.

Its surface is indeed very smooth. Chinese hats are effective and their length, although very soft, does not lack precision. The four buttons are also a bit soft, but their positioning makes them easy and intuitive to find. Regarding ergonomics, no worries, the pad fits well in the hands and no early fatigue is felt.

I am showing the experiences of several people who have used this gamepad.

    • Very Good Controller
Very good controller considering that I was able to get it with 30% reduction or ~ 25 €. The grip is pleasant, the sticks as well as the triggers offer good precision for car games. The multidirectional cross seems fragile at first glance but it is solid. OK buttons. On the other hand, no vibrations. ( JeanCharlesD)

    • Great!
Very good alternative to the XBOX Pad, you can feel the quality in the materials. I tried several models in this price range (Thrustmaster) but this one far exceeds the others. I recommend ! (by MickaelK)

The lower cost than the Sony or Microsoft models and the quality of its realization are important advantages. NB: the controller is recognized by Windows as a Microsoft 360 controller. (by XavierP)

    • Works fine without more
We are in 2020 and we are struggling to find the correct controllers, something that has existed for more than 40 years without any particular functional change. This controller is nothing exceptional, a copy of a playstation controller, it works, but makes too much noise when you press the buttons. I didn’t want to pay too much, otherwise I would have taken a console controller directly.(by JeromeB)

    • Good Controller
Good PC controller for playing games like Need for speed and soccer games.(by BrunoR)
